Harvest Banquet
Harvest Banquet will be Tuesday November 8, 2011. Mike Yankowski author of Under the Overpass will be the special speaker. Tickets will be available starting August 15, 2011.

Disc Golf Outing Benefiting MorningStar Mission →
J Town Disc Golf will be hosting an event Feb. 2, 2011 at Channahon Park benefiting MOrningStar Mission. The Ice Bowl will be a PGA tournament. We hope to see you there. For more information call (815)651-7327 .

Jump On The Bus
MorningStar Mission signed up over 300 homeless/low-income children to receive much needed school supplies and clothing for the upcoming school year. If you are interested in giving a child a hand please call Jackie 815-722-5780 and she will give you the information about providing the much needed school supplies for a child.

2010 Star Ball Benefit for MorningStar Mission...
May 15th Spring Fling 2010 a benefit for the Family Center was wonderful. The Ruth Family-Northern Illinois Steel Company received the Star Award for their commitment to bettering our community. The evening was truly remarkable. Thank you to all who made this benefit possible.

Easter Dinner
Easter dinner was a glorious day here at the Mission. We were able to give out Easter Goodie Baskets to all the children who joined us for their Easter Dinner. We served over 200 guests. Thank you for all your support and prayers.

2010 Easter Food Basket Distribution
Today is a busy day here at the Mission. Needy Families of WIll County are coming to get their Easter Family Food Basket and Kiddie Goodie baskets for their families. The line was around the north end of the building. Many volunteers came to help give us a hand. MorningStar would not of been able to do this if it were not for the support of the community! 100 Year Celebration
It is amazing to see how God has been working here at the Mission. In 1909 Peter H. McCarthy followed his calling to reach out to the homeless and lost in Will County. 100 Years later the Mission is still reaching out and saving lives.
